• We help our clients to launch new products that are certified as fairtrade.
• We ourselves have been certified by Bio-Inspecta in accordance with the Swiss Organic Farming Ordinance in respect of our services as an importer and distributor.
• We are committed to transparency: GDSN is geared towards maximising online sales success and, additionally via www.trustbox.swiss, provides Swiss consumers with reliable, detailed information on food such as lists of ingredients, nutritional values, allergens and additives.

• In cooperation with our transport partners, low-CO² rail transport is used to cover the long distances travelled by our import shipments or for national distribution. Only the final part of the route is handled by HGVs if required.
• The production of waste is avoided wherever possible in cooperation with suppliers. If any waste is generated during operations, however, it is collected, separated by type, and processed further as a reusable material, recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sustainable way by specialist waste disposal partners. 
• In 2022, we will be commissioning a photovoltaic system that will provide all the power Promena needs for itself, including its logistics.
• In 2023, we will convert Promlog's hall lighting from halogen and neon technology to energy-saving and sustainable LED technology.
• The vehicles used by our field sales team will be switched completely to e-mobility from 2025 onwards.

Promena AG values healthy working conditions and respect for human rights, both within the company and at our external business partners. 

Our company is strictly against any form of child labour as understood by the International Labour Organization (ILO).  

Promena AG is strictly against forced and compulsory labour. Employment relationships are entered into willingly and can be terminated by either party with reasonable notice.

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination on the grounds of sex, gender, background, religious beliefs, philosophical or political convictions, language, social or trade union involvement, sexual identity and orientation, a physical, mental or psychological condition, or age. Discrimination by supervisors or other employees is not tolerated.

All employees are entitled to the protection of their personal integrity in the workplace. Sexual harassment is not tolerated at Promena AG.

Employees will not be disadvantaged by being or not being a member of a Swiss employees’ organisation insofar as this does not interfere with their working relationship with the company.
